Therapy programs for most post surgical patients aim to return the individual's strength, function and mobility. The programs may involve a variety of treatment options with goals set for the patients to resume every day activities of living as much as possible.

Post surgical rehab is common for most of the following procedures:

  • Hip replacement
  • Muscle releases
  • Nerve surgery
  • Back surgery
  • Disc herniation surgery
  • Rotator cuff surgery
  • ACL, MCL, meniscectomy surgery
  • Ankle surgery
  • Shoulder surgery

Patients return at approximately four weeks after surgery for an evaluation of range of motion, strength, scar massage, mobilization and posture.
