Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) are tests designed to determine that specific job capabilities are being carried out in a safe and correct manner, such as; lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and computer/desk work, to name a few.

FCE's are commonly used for:

  • Pre-employment screening for physical capabilities
  • Safety exams for returning injured workers to the job
  • Disability ratings
